update - writing life

this is an upside down pear cake - recipe later...

51,010 words! that's where I'm at and I'll be there until tomorrow - wednesday - my regular writing day. Which means that I'm steady at 1,000 or more a day. goody for me.

I have to do some cleaning tomorrow. Before writing. The kids have gone to their ma's and we're going to whoop-de-doo this evening or maybe in the morning but then man oh man the dust is going to fly. It is rugged around here!
oh recipe break:
take as many smoked pork chops as you have people to feed plus one or two - preferably from a butcher or farmer you know. Put a nut of real butter in the fry pan and get it sizzling. Add a thinly sliced onion and when it gets nice and soft but not brown throw in the pork chops. On top of them put some real marmalade that you get from your best friend or other reliable source. My best friend makes her marmalade dark and with long slices of orange. Yummy! So put some on the top of each chop - flip them and put some more on the other side. Then put some orange juice in the pan and put the whole works in the oven at 375. cook for bit - not too long because really smoked pork chops are pretty much ready to go. Serve with baked sweet potatoes and yukon golds, some greens cooked and buttered and some Australian Chardonay. ah...

I'll put in the upside down pear cake in a post coming soon to you, dear reader!

well the pear upside down cake looks totally scrumptious!! and those pork chops sound WAY too good!! may have to give the chops a try, doesn't sound too difficult... gotta find me a best friend with marmalade!! LOL!!

Keep up the great work with writing!! as for the cleaning, i wish there were a magical suction machine that in one fell swoosh sucked all the dust and dirt up and was gone with it!! LOL!! just a little fantasy.........
