Update on BuNoWriMo

Life is A Dream
is 6% complete

I wrote 1,555 words (my goal for the month is 25 thou) and the name is Life is A Dream Shaboom Shaboom. And I love it. Love my new protagonist who hasn't revealed her name yet, love the rhythm that presented itself, the telling of a life that is happening. I'll let you know how it progresses. I borrowed the feel of her from a short story I wrote several years ago - she'll have some of the same qualities but she only needed that idea to begin and develop in her own way. Whew! That other title 'The Barrens' was bumming me out - too gothic and I want to be light-hearted on this one - more Wally Lamb and less Margaret Atwood if you get me.
Now I shall walk the dog and do some RW revising and then off to work work I go. The lad and his lad are decking the deck. Yes. Life is sweet enough. Good Enough. Oh - now I want to call my book that...hmmm...might.

Good luck with the new project. It sounds exciting. I have been working on a project too...I have been so caught up in it I have left my blogging slide.

Thank you all for your cheers! The reason this works for me as an incentive to get going is because folks like you in the blogosphere are so kind and I want to make it work!

It's so fun viewing the writing process through a friend's eyes. For example, I love that you have already found a home in the story, and you have a title that resounds. So cool! Three cheers to speed you on your challenge!
