Well ... I'm nothing if not inconsistent. I have, yet again, a changed plan. I got some remarks back from beta-readers and I need to do a serious over-haul of Bright Angel. I figured out a way to do it and stay in the game with all the lovely meters and everything - tools I find most encouraging. I have 34 chapters so hope to do one chapter a day and a few extra somewhere in there. I've done one chapter so far - day one was a day that my Buddhist teacher was in town from Vancouver, teaching. Yay Dzongsar! I love you big time! So yesterday was my first day. And, in case you don't know or don't remember, I have a puppy! Yay Bella! She is a toddler. She's sleeping right now and as soon as I finish this on the upstairs laptop, I'm going to pop her in her crate and go downstairs to hack out another chapter. Then another walk (one long one at 7 this morning) and play and maybe one more chapter, and then another walk and so forth. Then work - yay work! And tonight I'm teaching for my friend Gwen - a memoir writing class. Looking forward to that! Yay teaching!
You may have noticed something. I'm trying to APPRECIATE my obstacles to writing. Then they take their right place. After all - no obstacles - no path! Yay Dzongsar for his great wisdom!
I'll post another day or so this week just to keep writing pals up to date. I love BuNoWriMo!

Jan - I love your attitude about dealing with obstacles! Must think about my own. And it's good to hear that you found a way to revise Bright Angel while still keeping its chi intact. Hugs to Bella!
I think I need a lesson on appreciating writing obstacles. Way to put a positive spin on things!!
I love your attitude. Totally helps to face obstacles head on. For me it sort of depends on the news on whether I can do that or not.
