this crazy writing person goes to Cuba

Hi y'all - going to Cuba tomorrow morning - yay! Copied out a draft of Bright Angel to read and mark-up on the beach. Otherwise plan on swimming, visiting this cool cemetery and particular grave in Havana that I wrote about in Feckless. Who knows - might get inspired to revisit that novel (it has about a fifth of it taking place in Cuba). I'm going to read, take pictures, walk on the beach, go to a baseball game, smoke a cigar, drink a rum and meet the coolest people on the planet - Cubans! I'll report when I get back. And no, I won't be tanned. I don't do that. I wear a hat in swimming.
