Saturday and feeling the urgency

It is a gorgeous summer day and what do you think I want to do? I want to write. I really do. I'll have to go out in a bit to pick up our weekly box of vegies and the globe and mail (though I really wonder why I keep reading the arrogant thing) and I have to take Hoagy for a stroll (yesterday we saw two pileated wood-peckers!) and maybe, just maybe, I'll go down the hill and jump in the chuck - but really - I want to write. I am so close to getting this and the voices are in my head and I must listen!
And you?

I'm with Pat. Write! You can go walking any time.

Don't ignore the urge - write.

I agree with Diane. Write first and do the rest later!

I wrote! Then I walked Hoagy - that isn't an extra - it is a must. And now I might write some more. I don't know what is up with me - I've written 65 thousand words in a month and a half and fifty new poems (all on fb) - I just feel it!

Jan - So glad you are taking the time to listen to Madame Muse!! It sounds like a wonderful weekend!

I'm hoping you wrote AND enjoyed the time you were out. I had lunch with my sister and we chatted about everything we needed to catch up on. Lots of fun. I'm slowly recharging.

Margot - I am still listening to her! I wrote two thousand yesterday and also figured out a very tricky plot point that has been keeping me up nights. Today I'll forge ahead with that.
Carol - I did! Oh, how I wish I could have lunch with my sister but I'll call her today and have a good long chat. My family is scattered across Canada - sister, step-mother, nieces and nephew in Ontario, niece in Alberta, brother and sis-in-law in North West Territories, nephew in Australia. Argh!
