A New Day - the ramblings of a wishful person...

Dear Readers,
It is snowing like a March lion. Everything is covered and pretty and I so wish I could take a snow day, but, alas alack, I cannot. What would I do with such a day? Well, I'd finish up the last of the query packages for True and send them out; I'd haul out The Rock Walker and begin a massive revision on it (I imagine it to be massive - perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised); I'd continue spring cleaning the joint; and I'd curl up by the fire and read The Constant Gardener by John Le Carre. I might take a short walk with the beasty and take photos too. But no. Instead I'll buzz this together - visit one or two of you - sweep the car off and get on my way. I have six clients and so...a very full day.
Tomorrow is my regular writing day - Gwen isn't back from Africa yet (she arrives on the ninth) and I have grandkids to visit so it won't be a long one. Maybe I'll get that first thing off my list - the query packages. That would be splendid, as Watson says to Holmes at every opportunity. Ron and I are trying to the utmost to sprinkle our talk with Holmes and Watson talk. Yes, utmost is one of those.
Tomorrow I promise to become a more regular blogger. I'm going to do like everyone who is smart and pick REGULAR blogging days. I hate being regular but I think this would be best...it would be splendid and I'm going to do the utmost to make it happen. I'm also going to go over to my other site - Living the Complicated Simple Life and do the same over there. Probably won't blog there so often but I've been neglecting that garden something fierce.

This snow has invigorated me!

You have a busy day. Even with regular blogging days I still have trouble visiting everyone.

Wish we had snow. It's finally cold again but looks like we'll see no white stuff this year.

No snow here - just waves of rain. Keep warm and give the chickens a wave from me. I think of you with a smile every time I see the weather forecast for your part of the country.

We had no snow, no snow, ALL THE SNOW, a little snow, no snow, snow with 10 degree temperatures and horrid winds and now...warmish rain.

Spring? Maybe? *waits*

What a fairyland! I love reading about your persistent writing faithfulness. I just sent off the reworked novel to my agent (Hurrah! Finally!) and at last I'm breathing more, relaxing a bit. Until I hear something, anyway! I hope it has been a blissfully successful day!

Jan - I love snow days! I miss them; I really do. I don't blame you for dreaming of what you'd do on a snow day.... Thanks for sharing the lovely 'photos, too.

And good for you to focus on your writing. You're teaching me a lot.
