The Venerable Chogyam Trungpa, a Buddhist teacher of great reknown, was once asked after a talk why he had changed his mind on a certain point. He cocked his head, as he would, looked at the student and answered, 'Because I have a mind to change!'
I've always liked this and what it means. Why does being stalwart and stubbornly loyal carry such great weight? Why is being spontaneous considered flighty? So bizarre.
All this to say - I changed my mind. The more I thought about the A to Z challenge the less I wanted to do 26 favourite authors - I became immediately worried about whether I would do Peter Carey for C or Lewis Carroll - and so on. So I'm going to do a spontaneous thingy - go to my dictionary and randomly choose a word and then riff on it. Way more fun.
Okay?
See you tomorrow

Yep, very much okay! When a boat floats, I'm happy. Have fun with the Challenge.
No worries. Hey, I'm just going to wing it most of the time.
Random IS way more fun!! Good luck! I'm sticking to limericks myself...
OK!
Works for me! I'm being pretty random and flying by the seat of my pants myself. It's almost time :)
Sounds awesome! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
