me on left, Jude on right
Just a quick note to tell all of you that I feel FINE! I don't know how or why but I seem to have side-stepped the flu. So...yay! My immune system must be so buffed by eating nothing but pure -non-sugary, non-processed, non-caffeniated, non-wheated stuff that it can repell enemies at the border.

I stayed home today to work with Gwen and Kathy on this workbook project for the dept. of ed. and I didn't go take care of my dearest grand-kids cuz I didn't want to infect anyone but actually I feel sort of full of beans.

Tomorrow it is wall-to-wall clients and the same Thursday plus it is my grand-daughter's 8th birthday! So off to Fox Point for some fun with her.

Friday will be work with Gwen, some clients and a Babe's dinner! They had one on Sunday when I was driving home from Cape Breton that sounded way fun but this will just be a cozy hang-around the fire one - low key. Just what I need after 11 days of work!!!

dressing up!
Saturday, the peachy lad and I will buy some candy although NO ONE will come to our door. I'll get dressed up as a scary witch and he'll laugh at me. Ah well. I love Halloween!

We have a bit in common, although, unfortunately, I did not sidestep the flu.

Each year I buy candy (a kind I don't like) and each year I give it to my grown son to eat. We've lived in this house for 9 years and only one year has any kid come to our door. Our house sits back from the road & though we turn on the driveway lights, no one ventures. Yet, I know the year I don't buy any candy, they will show up!

Love the pictures, Jan! I'm glad you're not down with the nasty bug. We've had seasonal colds here, but so far have avoided the flu. (knock on wood) I'm sending good thoughts you're way today!

Um, that would be "your" not "you're"

Sheesh!

We are girding ourselves. We moved into a neighborhood with a gazillion kids and The Husband and I are going to sit on the porch and enjoy the parade of ghoulies and princesses. Glad you didn't get the flu.

Enjoyed the photos, by the way.

Thanks all! I was looking for this one where my sister Jude is dressed like the Queen of Hearts and has shiny paten leather shoes and I'm a witch with brown laceups and a scowl on my face. Even though I remember I WANTED to be a witch. hmmm...I'll look some more.
Oh we might get three or four or eight kids. I kind of exaggerated.
