Sunday Morning

Kids still abed, sky light grey to drizzle colour, chickens grumpy and whistling Bridge on the River Quai, sweet patootie in his pod downstairs and I in mine. This particular pod is getting ...hmmm...MESSY! So messy that I will have no moral highground with step-dot when I ask her to clean up her pen. So today dear reader - today I will deal. I will write a bit and clean a bit. 500 words down and then clean desk; another 500 and organize floor (don't ask please) and so on until it is bearable in here. Also if we are having the inspector by so we can re-mortgage and take care of our crushing to us debt-load - well I insist to my s-p's disbelief that clean and spiffed and looking nice translates to a better figure. I know it is true. Plus I'm not having someone in to actually JUDGE our home without it being in excellent shape. How I wish I could grandly send for my dearest sister to come and whip us into shape. For she, dear reader, is the absolute bestest at making environments look good.

Later - I'll report after each writing-cleaning cycle. Yep, you are being asked to be the stick again. If you think of ways to reward me then I will reward you. Ah - a games afoot! For any of you who comment a new on this or any other of my blog entries I will regift something lovely and especially thought out for you! How is that. So let's see the contest goes like this:

1. comment on a blog entry. And tell me a way I can reward myself for my hard work. I will send you something uniquely chosen for your sensibility based on what little or lot I know of you - could be a photo or a bit of whimsy I no longer need to hold onto or even a hat...

All commenters will be WINNERS! How often do you get that?

Later...

I can't resist the chance to be a winner!!! This carrot/rabbit thing seems to be working, although I don't relish being a -stick. Would like to look like a stick, however.......
Good luck on your office cleaning -your head will be organized once your surroundings are so you will feel doubly blessed by your hard work.
Love ya.
