A to Z Challenge Intention

Hi Y'all - only two more sleeps til the A to Z challenge begins. Are you ready? That is if you intend to be ready of course...

Here is my strategy and wishes for the ordeal challenge.

Theme: I will write, each day, on what I know for sure about being an artist/writer - a creative person. I will attempt to make these pithy and useful with perhaps some humour thrown in!

Getting Around - I will try, to the best of my ability, to visit those who visit me and also to get around to everyone in the challenge at least once, follow and comment.

Wish - that my posts be truly helpful to those who struggle and soar and that I find inspiration in those blogs I visit.

other more concrete demand wish - that those who are part of this challenge disable any word verification programs they run - just for the duration of the challenge...

whimsical wish - that those who read my blog, because I'm Canadian, to respect that and read my 'Z' as Zed!

My sister lives in Australia. Zed is good! Good luck Jan. I am in awe of those who try.

I signed up too... I think I'm going to stick with handling this as a challenge for myself to blog regularly rather than a way of gaining followers/networking, since I basically stopped caring about that ages ago. So I won't beat myself up if I cannot visit every participant. I'm in awe of your goal to do so, though!

By the way, I adore the typewriter header. Veryvery clever and awesome!

Hi Liza - power to the zed!

Mari - I think that is a great idea. I'm not overly concerned with filling up my rolls. Like you, I'd rather go deep than broad. I think though that I can reach everyone in 28 days by visiting about 27 a day. I think I can do that...hope so?

I too am not in the follower mode. I need the discipline of the writing and the follow through.
Visiting may leave me cross-eyed and headache prone but it'll still be FUN!

I', all for the Zed - being British. Hope you have fun with the challenge. I'm going to try to get around everyone - just hope we all manage to keep it short though!
Off to see if I have word verification or not - good tip

Hi Mary - I know, like Laura, I hope everyone keeps it short!

Laura - bring on the zedders!

Here, here to disabling word verification! LOL!

I grew up saying zed. British school. :) And zeh-brah walk instead of zee-brah walk. :)

Yes, A.L., let's see if we can convince the others!

Zed it is, my dear :) Anything for you.

Good luck with your posting. I hope that I can also make the rounds, but considering this is my final month of school, I'm not sure how practical that is. Here's hoping. But I know I'll make it over here :)

Nice to see the button on your side bar. I must have it for my very own! Off I go into the world of thievery...

A great plan, Jan! Good luck with it all! I am in there, too, and it feels a little overwhelming, but we'll do it!

I am looking forward to seeing what you have to offer. My stuff for the challenge is all about the stuff I am a Fan of (such as star wars), all the way to my favorite authors.

Found you from the A-Z Challenge, it sounds like it’s going to be so much fun (with a bit of stress thrown in) and I can’t wait to get started!! I’m now following your blog on GFC and I hope you have a chance to check out my blog.

Of course it's Zed!
Word verification? I'm showing supreme ignorance and need to find out how to remove it. I'm doing a) bullying & b) possibly climate change. I'm in awe of your goal of visiting everyone, it looks like it'll be 1000 soon!! I'm looking forward to your posts.

As another Canadian all I could think was "of course, it's zed!" - zee always sounds odd to me :)

I'm all for 'zed' too, given I'm in New Zealand!

Good luck with the challenge.

I found this only today, Jan. One day, I will return, because the little I have read shows your own unique touch.
I have no idea what the other letters are going to be, but S has to be On Sisters!
