Happy New Year and Eye Candy Blogfest

Happy New Year wonderful readers! I had a blast last night and the SP and I were in bed just in time to watch the fireworks out our window - those we could see without moving that is. Yep, that's the way to welcome in the New Year.
I already told you all my writing goals - for the rest go and see me at Living the Complicated Simple Life!

There is an Eye Candy Blogfest being hosted by Vicki over at  Rambles and Randomness  .   The rules are simple - post photos that make you happy. So here goes - these are all mine and they were all taken this year. Yay!

the ears! Awesome!
My aunt used to live in Nova Scotia, she's now in Whitehorse, YT.
I'm amazed at how many people I've run into from Nova Scotia on my internet travels.

Happy New Year!

Oh what fun! Thanks for all the terrific comments - yep the young fella full of curiosity is a fave of mine too. The cadet one was taken on the day Arlo and I visited the Queen - he is the handsome gent with the beard and a vet so I love the juxtaposition.
Now I'm going visiting your blogs! Yeehaw.

Love your pictures, Jan! I particularly love Arlo (is that his name?) and the young sailors, but your animals are wonderful!

Awesome pictures! Were you really that close to the queen?

Jan Morrison said...

Hi all glorious readers or in this case viewers! The beach picture is the day after Hurricane Earl - the girl closest is my step-dot and we are at Queensland Beach. And speaking of the Queen's land - yep I was that close to her. It was thrilling and what was more thrilling was that I remembered to take a gazillion photos. This one is my favourite because of the dear look on her face when talking to vets. I love that about her!

Jan Morrison said...

Oh Elspeth, I just realized you meant the Cape Breton shot - that is from somewhere near Inverness, Cape Breton - isn't it so beautiful. Cape Breton always makes me smile!
