The Friday Challenge
How do you handle sex, humour and food in your writing? Are you surprised to see them here...together? Your challenge, dear readers, is to move beyond your comfort zone with your manuscript in one or all three of these areas. If you are revising - look to see where these might show up or could show up. If you are in the white heat of a first draft see how you might think about these in your work. Or just spin off - go deep - take out your journal and write something about your main protagonist to do with these three. And let me know what you find out.

Oh My!
Most of the humor in mine comes through snappy dialogue. Not much sex in the one I'm writing. There is a little food, though. Perhaps I need more food.

Great challenge - I have bits and pieces of all 3 in my ms - I'll have to check and see if they need ramping up a bit :)
This is too much fun. I'm still working on some ideas. I have a funny sex-related scene at a dinner table (at, not on), but the food is hardly involved.
