Reading the cured manuscript

here I am with my Dad - we are riding in the bluffs on the edge of Colorado Springs. I'm on my regular mount - Peg. She was a total beauty. Why put this here - because riding involves intention, craft and a good seat and so does writing...
I'm more than half through the manuscript and enjoying this part immensely. I actually like what I've written while still seeing the big gaping holes in it. I sit on my couch and read it from my condensed print-out - a pen to mark right on it and a book for more extensive notes. Trying not to get too caught up in that part though - just small reminders of what I might want to do. Today, I will take my manuscript to work as I have time there to do it - have to get an x-ray so will be glad to having something good to read in the hosp. waiting room! ha!
This reading is going faster than I thought which gives me hope. I aired on the lots and lots of time for each part of this process - think I'll still be light on some parts (scene work!) so it should even out over all. PACE!
