Chickadees at Linder's feeder in Merigomish. I was playing with my new zoom lense. Such fun.
Today is Cindy's birthday - she is only fifty! The babes in town will be getting together and I made her a chocolate walnut torte with no flour!!! It's a Craig Claiborne recipe I haven't used before but couldn't resist. Ten eggs! Hope it is good - it is in the oven now and I need to go in half an hour so cross your fingers...
We will get together at Debra's home and have lots of lovely food and drinks (not me - I'm back at puritan land) and a fire in the fireplace. Friends, food and fire - the best.

Birthday party, yay! I made a flourless chocolate torte for Christmas and it turned out divine, hope yours does too!

it did Elizabeth, it did! It was easy and tasted very good. I'll be making it again. I made it with splenda instead of sugar too and if I could use bitter chocolate with more splenda or stevia it would be perfect! I'll get to trying it one of these days.
