Tuesday is official writing day...

and I'm going to write today. Yep. I've not been doing it folks. Well, I've written a mystery plot for Catchword of course and I've written a few letters but I've not written anything in the line of my own work for a while now. Time to pitter patter fly atter. Gwen should be here momentarily and we'll get to writing. We have work to do together but it won't start today. Today will just be for us. Well, the morning will be. In the afternoon I am rushing off to meet my grandchildren's bus. That is my new routine every Tuesday. Meet the bus and play like crazy with the three pirates for a couple of hours and then mosey home as the sun sets. Yep. This weekend, my SP and I are going to Annapolis Royal. We're staying in a b&b and wandering around that shore. I haven't been in a long while so really looking forward to it. Even more so after reading the fantastic Book of Negroes by Hill. I want to see what there is to see in regards to the Black Loyalists. Such an amazing story altogether.
I will, of course, bring back pics and perhaps a new location for Kitty MacDonald to do her police work. Ya never know...

Official Writing Day! What a good idea. I celebrate Official Mean to Write But End Up Getting Sidetracked Day more often that I would like to admit. Hope you're pleased at the end of the day.

I don't think I'd ever get anything done if I tried to set a day for it. Life takes over, doesn't it. I steal my time in much smaller blocks, but try to do it daily. In the bath at night is most reliable. Occasionally hubby barges in and wants a heart to heart (can't you see I'm WRITING?) but normally the whole family leave me alone in there, so I can sit and write without distractions. I sometimes wonder what I will do if I ever get in a position to support myself as a writer... I'd be a prune.

Good luck with fitting it in!

Hope it works out for you! Good luck with the writing. I got some knocked out this morning, but the day went haywire shortly afterward. :)
